OJStat offers an OJS-based journal statistics counter solution. Let's simplify your journal statistical analysis with OJStat.

What is OJStat?

OJStat is a self-funding project built as an alternative to Google Analytics, Matomo, Plausible, StatCounter, and other statistic counter applications. It does not use cookies, fully meets the requirement of GDPR, CCPA, and PECR, provides comfort for your journal’s visitors and convenience for you as the user. It is the time for you to use a journal analytic platform that gives you 100% data ownership.

Know who visited your journal

OJStat works for you to semi-identify your journal visitors. By semi-identify, we invite you to understand that your visitors’ privacy is of the most important for us. We do not allow users to collect sensitive data like visitors’ IP addresses without encoding them. You need to know where your visitors came from, when they visited your journal, and what systems helping them accessing your journal.

Easy and Free

OJStat is easy to install and use. Since it is a self-hosted application, it is free. We, of course, accept donation as an appreciation on the attempt to bring you this app. Donation will also be helpful for its development in the future.

More than a statistic counter

OJStat does more than counting your visitors. It also displays your journal metrics taken from Scimago, Google Scholar, and Index Copernicus. This is a feature that you can only find in OJStat.

Controllable Report Page

You gain full control of what data you want to display on the OJStat Report Page. All you need to do is to set it in the journal configuration.

Embedding Widgets on your journal page

OJStat has a widget generator that helps you to generate widget code to put it either in the sidebar of your journal or on a static page. No need to hard-code the widget; all is set for you.
